According to Sky Sports, the Hammers have singled out the next central midfield star at Celtic. The English media reports that the London club are in talks with the Scottish club about signing 22-year-old Arne Engels.
The Belgian player has two years left on his contract with the Scottish giant. With 17 goals and 21 assists in 98 appearances in the green and white shirt, Engels has shown himself since his transfer from Augsburg in 2024.

The central midfielder is known as a box-to-box player and a deep-seated playmaker with a good passing foot and great work capacity. These are qualities West Ham need on their way back to the world’s toughest league. For the 22-year-old Engels, a great opportunity to play his way into the Premier League.
