There is, of course, job-seeking Allegri. On Friday, Napoli confirmed on their website that “Allegri is proud to be one of us”. Over the past year, the 58-year-old has led AC Milan without much success, but expectations of him leading Napoli back to the top of Serie A, like Conte’s 2024/25 season, are of course at rock bottom. At the same time, it means denying Allegri’s former clubs Juventus and AC Milan success in Italy.
