Bodø/Glimt have sold Danish left-back Adam Sørensen at a good profit. The reigning league champions bought the 24-year-old for 100,000 euros two years ago from Lyngby, and now, according to Transfermarkt, he has been sold back to Danish football for 600,000 euros.

Sørensen joined Bodø/Glimt ahead of the 2023 season, and has in his time in Bodø recorded 46 games in the all-yellow shirt. Sørensen scored two goals for Bodø/Glimt, one away from home against Bohemians in last year’s Confernece League qualification. The second was the nail in the coffin when Glimt won 4-2 in the semi-finals against Vålerenga in the cup last year.

Now he has been sold to Odense, who went into the winter break with an eight-point gap at the top of the table in the Danish 1st division. The Odense club’s goal is promotion to the Super League.

Jimmi Nagel Jacobsen, Head of Recruitment at OB is very pleased: “With Adam, we get a dynamic left-back who comes from a top environment in Bodø/Glimt, where he has played in Europe and was used to winning many football matches. At the same time, we get a player who knows Danish football in depth and who already has good experience from his time in Norway and Denmark. That’s why Adam has been on our radar for a long time, and he’s a player we know intimately.”

The contract with OB runs until 2029
