Rafael Leao has announced early this summer that he wants to move on from AC Milan, the club he has played for since 2019. Aston Villa are now very active in putting in place a transfer before the transfer window closes.

According to transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Aston Villa have entered into concrete negotiations with the Italian giant for the Portuguese striker, with Leão opening the transfer to the Premier League club.

Aston Villa, meanwhile, are in the process of selling Ollie Watkins to Saudi Arabian club, sales revenue that should come in handy in the final days of the transfer market. There is a bet that Leao will be an X-factor in the Villa attack.
