After Liverpool pulled out of the race for Yan Diomande signing, a lot has revolved around Bradley Barcola. Then in early August, reports came that Liverpool were running a double race in Paris, where Ibrahim Mbaye was also to be brought to Anfielld. Now an agreement is being reported.

Last week, it was reported that Liverpool had withdrawn their interest in Mbaye due to PSG’s wild financial demands, but now it seems that the club has made a breakthrough in the pursuit of the Senegalese’s signature. Neither Mbaye nor Barcola were in the PSG squad when the team clashed with Lens in the French Super Cup final on Sunday night.

According to French RMC Sport , Liverpool and the 18-year-old Mbaye have now agreed on the personal terms. A big step further that the shooting star mentally wants to go to Anfield, then there are some final tough rounds of negotiations left.
