Arsenal and Emirates have extended one of the most recognisable partnerships in international sport. The airline will continue as the main sponsor of shirts, training clothes and keep the name of the stadium until 2033.
The partnership between Arsenal and Emirates began in 2006 and has since grown to become one of the most enduring and iconic in the world of football. The agreement has helped support Arsenal’s sporting ambitions, strengthen both parties’ global reach and create unique experiences for supporters around the world.
The size of the deal is said to be £70 million a year.

The next chapter in the partnership will be marked already this weekend, when Arsenal welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Emirates Cup – the tournament that brings top international football to North London every summer.
“Success belongs to everyone”
For Arsenal, the extension comes in the wake of the Premier League title, which CEO Richard Garlick highlights as a crucial moment for the club.
“Winning the Premier League is a proud moment in the club’s history and it belongs to everyone associated with Arsenal. Emirates has been a key part of this success, standing with us through this journey and sharing the important moments, challenges and achievements that have shaped our club over the past two decades,” said Garlick.
He emphasizes that the title gives the club an even stronger starting point for the future:
“The Premier League title allows us to be more ambitious and build on the position we have today. The extension reflects a shared belief in Arsenal’s future and a common will to continue. The best partnerships, like the best teams, never stand still. Together, we will continue to challenge ourselves and build on the solid foundation we have created, with confidence and ambition that our greatest achievements are still ahead of us.
“More than a traditional collaboration”
Emirates CEO Tim Clark highlights the special bond that has been forged between the two parties over two decades.
“Emirates and Arsenal have built something that goes far beyond a traditional partnership, and we are very proud of it,” says Clark.
“We have evolved with the club through changing periods and ambitions, united by a common goal of bringing people closer to what they love.
Clark points out that very few collaborations in the world of sports can point to a similar basis:
“The next thing is to build on this strength for the millions of Arsenal supporters who have the club with them, wherever they are in the world. We look forward to the history we will create together in the years to come.
The collaboration that has grown with the club
Since its inception in 2006, Emirates has been a consistent piece in Arsenal’s modern history. The collaboration has not only been about shirts and stadium names – it has also led to concrete initiatives such as the Emirates Cup and Global Gooners, which give supporters from all over the world the opportunity to experience Arsenal in North London for the first time.
With a deal that now extends all the way to 2033, Arsenal secures long-term stability and financial backbone – while Emirates solidifies its position as one of football’s most loyal main sponsors.
