The Atletico Madrid management thunders, and threatens to complain rival Barcelona to FIFA for the push to push through a Julian Alvarez signing. Arsenal have been manoeuvring for months to bring the Argentine back to the Premier League, Alvarez has given the reigning Premier League champions an answer Arteta and the gang don’t take as an answer.

It was Alvarez who created the storm, when he stated after a World Cup match that he wanted to sign with Barcelona. This made the Atletico management hiss, a transfer to Barcelona will not happen, the club management promised.

Arsenal have made their stride, but according to the hyperactive transfer journalist Romano, Alvarez has turned down the London club, he wants to go to Barcelona.

But now Romano reports that with the two La Liga clubs at “war” with each other, and Atletico Madrid ready to complain to FIFA about FC Barcelona’s advance, the Arsenal management does not see this as settled, with Arsenal willing to wait and see if Atletico Madrid slams the door completely shut for Barcelona – and Julian Alvarez has mentally already left Atletico Madrid, with a sale that becomes natural.
