The Belgium international had joined the Bundesliga club on loan last summer as part of a deal including a purchase option that has now been exercised.
In August 2024, Atlético de Madrid and RB Leipzig agreed a deal for Arthur Vermeeren to join the Bundesliga team on loan, which included the possibility of a permanent transfer.
After fulfilling the conditions agreed by both parties, the purchase option has been activated and the player, who joined our club during last winter’s transfer window, has now been permanently transferred to RB Leipzig.
