Arsenal are the reigning Premier League champions, but have had a puzzled transfer window so far. This week, the signing battle for Morgan Rogers was also lost. Perhaps not so strange, when Chelsea flipped up an astronomical £117 million. Now the Arsenal management is advised to go directly at the “intimidating” Antonio Nusa, the only one “who can keep up with Haaland”. The London club is already on the case.
The whole world saw what Antonio Nusa can produce on the left wing, where he can unbalance a defence and open up for his teammates, or simply go himself, bluntly and directly with brilliant finishing. A former Premier League striker was so impressed by the 21-year-old that he thinks Mikel Arteta and the gang don’t need to look any further – sign Nusa!

Former Premier League striker has no doubt that Antonio Nusa will solve Arsenal’s challenges on the wing
“To me, he’s terrifying!”, says former Premier League striker Troy Deeny on talkSport.
“I haven’t heard anyone linked to this guy: Antonio Nusa, left winger for Norway, 21 years old for RB Leipzig. To me, he is frightening. He is 21 years old and played 35 games last year, 5 goals, 4 assists. 36 games the year before, 5 goals and 6 assists, so he shows that he can do it with both goals and assists at his young age.”
“He came into the second half against England and did really well, but I just think that he’s 21 years old and on the upper left (position) now, which is an area where most teams are struggling. I believe in Chelsea, possibly also Man United. They put Cunha there, but I think he’s probably better for the middle. Arsenal have that problem, so why wouldn’t you look at a young man like him (Nusa)?”
“This boy is also very fast. I remember watching him in the qualifiers and he’s the only one who can keep up with Haaland,” says an enthusiastic Deeney.

What Deeney says has already been picked up by the Arsenal crowd.
German Football News reports Newcastle, Juventus and several other European clubs are monitoring Nusa’s situation, where RB Leipzig believe they can now demand at least €60 million for the 21-year-old. Arsenal are ready to do something more than be a spectator.
According to Caughtoffside’s sources , Arsenal are preparing bids of around €40 million for Antonio Nusa this month. The Norwegian international’s performances in the World Cup strengthened the club’s interest, and the 21-year-old is seen as a possible long-term solution on the left.

The opening bid is unlikely to open the door at RB Leipzig, but a start that shows Arsenal mean business.
“Nusa’s ability to beat defenders and carry the ball under pressure would give Arsenal a different threat than their more possession-focused attacking players. Nusa would be an exciting replacement because he offers youth, directness, and true one-on-one quality. His relationship with Norway’s captain Martin Ødegaard can also help him establish himself quickly in North London, writes English Caughtoffside.
