A player type that is missing from Kompany’s attacking machine is getting ready for exit Newcastle.
In recent months, Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon has been reported to be on his way away from Newcastle, with the 25-year-old opening the exit door at St. James’ Park. The Premier League club have previously signalled they will sell Gordon first if a bid of €90 million ticks in, according to Sky Sports , Bayern are willing to stretch to €75 million.
Barcelona are also keen to sign Gordon, but according to Sky Sports, there has been no contact between Newcastle and Barca. Liverpool are also lurking in the wings.
Bayern Munich have shown a convincing ability to bring in Premier League stars in recent years with Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz. When the Bundesliga giant moves on to Newcastle after casting the ballot for Gordon, this smells of an Atnhony Gordon signing as the big thing of the year.
