We’ve seen it before, now we’re seeing it again. Bodø/Glimt develops players, sells to foreign clubs, while the development of the player is followed closely. If things don’t go as planned out in the big world, the door to Aspmyra will open. This time it is Joel Mvuka who once again pulls on the yellow Glimt shirt.

Joel Mvuka played for Bodø/Glimt from 2021 to 2023, before he was sold to French side Lorient. Limited playing time has led the midfielder on loan to Swiss Young Boys and Celtic. On Tuesday, the 23-year-old will be clapped in as a Glimt player.

“It’s great to be back. I’m fine, and have actually had a pretty good time since you last saw me, Mvuka begins to the club’s website.

Who feels like a better player since he left Aspmyra in 2023.

“I haven’t played very much, but I’ve played a little, and I feel I’ve gained a good experience even though I haven’t played that much, so I can take that with me. I have also become older and more experienced,” says Mvuka.

Who have the same ambitions as the club.

“I’ve followed Glimt since I left, and have seen that they have become a much better team. It would have been cool to get into the Champions League two years in a row. It’s a good match with me and Glimt,” says the 23-year-old.
