This year, the Eliteserien gold sat a little further in for Bodø/Glimt, who first secured first place in the last league round by winning 2 – 0 over Odd, who next season play down in the Obos league.

On Christmas Eve itself, Bodø/Glimt announce that they have extended their contract with their top scorer, Danish striker Kasper Høgh. The 24-year-old joined Bodø/Glimt from Stabæk in January for 700,000 euros and has now signed an extension until 2028.

The Dane was the team’s top scorer with twelve goals in the Eliteserien and three goals in European matches.

“I want to be in Bodø. Glimt has a “cool” way of playing, and there are good people here. I’m just happy that they want me to continue. I have my dream, but I keep it to myself,” he says to Bodø/Glimt’s pages, where you can also see an interview.

Before his time at Stabæk, Høgh played in Danish football. He was brought up in the Randers system.

In January, Høgh and Glimt will play in the last games of the league in the Europa League. The northerners have a good chance of making it to the knockout rounds.
