The summer of 2026 is unlikely to be forgotten by 22-year-old Nathaniel Brown. Included in the World Cup squad for Germany, plus what looks to be a signing for one of the world’s best clubs.

In recent weeks, both Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a lightning fast left-back, pass-proof and with an exceptional composure with the ball under pressure. The career of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathanial Brown has really taken off, with his debut on the German senior national team coming in October 2025. This is a player Bayern Munich wanted to secure.

Brown has made 42 appearances for Eintracht this season and impressed the Bayern management. Last week, German media reported that Bayern Munich had agreed on a personal deal with Brown, but this week The Athletic reported that Bayern management was unwilling to meet Eintracht Frankfurt’s €65 million asking price for Brown. Previous reports have reported that the German champion has set a value of around 50 million euros for the 22-year-old.

According to Bild , the breakthrough in negotiations between the clubs came on Wednesday. What it will ultimately be is unclear, but there is little doubt that Bayern Munich will go to great lengths to secure the super talent. They lost Florian Wirtz to Liverpool, a Premier League club should not win the battle for Brown.
