Henrik Falchener could not close the Norwegian defense against France in the group game, but the 23-year-old showed he is ready for the big arenas. Now he will be brought to Wrexham on his way to promotion to the Premier League.
“Wrexham are working on a deal to sign Henrik Falchener from Viking,” The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports on social media.

The English journalist claims Wrexham have already made two bids for Viking’s 1.94 tall and towering centre-back. The Wrexham crowd has seen the 23-year-old is made for English football, but they will probably have to go a little further.
Because according to Ornstein, both bids were rejected, the last one of 9.5 million euros including bonuses.
We’re betting Wrexham, with Ryan Reynolds and his friend as owners, are willing to do whatever it takes to secure Falchener, who then comes from an active league and can go “straight in” to the Championship arena.
