Danish striker Casper Tengstedt hasn’t had many opportunities to show off lately. Now he’s on his way, hopefully to something better.
Rosenborg bought the Danish striker from Horsens for 1 million euros in the summer of 2022. Almost immediately, Benfica signed up – and as soon as the winter window opened, the Portuguese giant sent 7 million euros to Lerkendal.

Now Tengstedt is on his way to the French club Toulouse. Feyenoord and the Ligue 1 club have agreed on a deal worth four million euros – plus bonuses and a resale clause. Medical tests are expected in the next few days, when the final details are in place. This is what Danish Tipsbladet writes today.
Only one test away from Toulouse
Casper Tengstedt is only one medical test and one signature away from becoming a Toulouse player. The test will be carried out as quickly as possible.
The 26-year-old was bought by Feyenoord from Benfica last year, but despite a solid scoring percentage, he has never quite gained the trust he deserves.

Goals in Feyenoord – in just over every game
In total, he only played 611 minutes in the Honorary Division and the Europa League last season – and most of the time came as a substitute.
Still, he netted five times, which gives him goals in just over every full game he has been on the pitch.
In the search for more playing time and new challenges, Casper Tengstedt is now on his way forward – something that has also been talked about this summer, when he has been linked with Toulouse. Now the transfer is quickly moving in the right direction.
In Toulouse, he will be part of very familiar surroundings. The head coach is Danish Jens Berthel Askou – who also has compatriots Thomas Jørgensen and Rasmus Nicolaisen in the squad.
Tengstedt has yet to play a game this season, but he looks set to get his chance in a league that is a step up from the top flight. Toulouse are desperate to secure the talented Danish striker.
