When Roberto de Zerbi took over at Brighton for Graham Potter, who was blindsided by the once-in-a-lifetime chance to manage Chelsea (we all remember how it went), many didn’t see how the Italian would follow up on Potter’s great success. De Zerbi didn’t just match Potter, he lifted Brighton further, to 6th place in the Premier League and Europa League.
