In the winter transfer window, things were boiling well at Tottenham. Thomas Frank and the Spurs players headed for relegation battle. A veteran like Andy Robertson was supposed to be tempted to sign in January, but the Scot had decided to end the nine-year period by completing his contract. Frank disappeared, Tottenham made it in the Premier League. On Friday, the London club was able to applaud Robertson as a new Tottenham player.
The 32-year-old had plenty of offers outside of England, but wanted to stay in the Premier League. This suited Roberto de Zerbi and Spurs perfectly. The left-back, who has cracked the codes in the Premier League, will now help Tottenham start their climb back to the top of the table.
