Chelsea have been given a clear message to sign a striker who dreams of Manchester United.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea had a brilliant weekend. Chelsea won 4 – 3 in a feast of a match at home at Stamford Bridge over Brighton and Manchester United won 5 – 2 over Ipswich with a hat-trick by captain Bruno Fernandes.
Former Chelsea stopper Marcel Desailly has given the club a clear advice: They “need” a certain type of striker – pointing to a man who is linked to Manchester United and who “loves” the Old Trafford club.

The Blues have opened the season in a magnificent scoring mood. Xabi Alonso’s side have netted nine goals in their first three games – the attack sits like a shot.
Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer have both scored twice each, while Morgan Rogers, Pedro Neto and Danny Welbeck have also made the scoresheet.
But Desailly believes Chelsea still need a new striker – and he has a clear name on the block.

Desailly: “Osimhen, absolutely”
To Metro, the Frenchman stated:
“[Victor] Osimhen, for sure. He brings attitude and respect – strong respect from both opponents and teammates.
“He can be a bit unpredictable at times, but you need the type of player who can justify his status and behaviour through performances – and also through a bit of controversy. He’s strong and he can bring that attitude to Chelsea.
“As for [Nicolas] Jackson – he’s gone to Aston Villa now. Honestly, I’d bring in a proper nine-type striker. The problem is that there aren’t many strikers out there who can help Chelsea in the long term.

Osimhen linked to Manchester United
While there is a perception that Osimhen is open to a move to the Premier League, he has been linked with both Arsenal and Manchester United. Louis Saha believes the Red Devils are in a unique position to land him.
Saha stated:
“I know for sure that Victor Osimhen is a Manchester United supporter.
“He loves Man Utd. I’ve seen it in his eyes – the impact the club has on him, and he sees the impact he himself can have on this team.
“United missed out on Harry Kane and that was one of their biggest mistakes in the transfer market – but they can correct that mistake by signing Osimhen.
“I think Osimhen is a better fit for United now than Kane, because of Benjamin Sesko. Osimhen can teach Sesko about movement and being a striker – but they can also play together and combine better than Kane and Sesko could.
“I see it in the way they like to play. Not in every game, but in some games it would make sense – and the rest of the time they could give each other healthy competition.
“We had four strikers when I played for Manchester United. I didn’t have the same style of play as Ruud van Nistelrooy, Alan Smith or Carlos Tevez – but we found our own ways because the manager was good enough to let us compete in a healthy way.
“That’s what United need, and Osimhen would give them that – score at least 15 or 20 goals per season – and provide assists for others as well. That’s the kind of profile United need to sign.
