In 2019, Leeds brought in a 19-year-old goalkeeper on loan from FC Lorient. When the Frenchman was 20 years young, the permanent transfer came. In the early seasons, the acrobatic octopus of a goalkeeper was one of the greatest goalkeeper talents on the market, designated to guard the cage for one of the truly great clubs of the future. This season, now 26-year-old Mesliger has spent most of the season out of the Leeds squad, on Tuesday it is announced that his contract will expire and exit.
