Now the 33-year-old talks about his plan to test himself in American football as a “kicker”.
“It’s something I’m going to try to look at a little bit more seriously. It all depends on what happens with my career in the next five or six years. The NFL is much more realistic than golf,” Kane said, according to Reuters.

Kane has previously spoken about his interest in both American football and golf, but his NFL plans have now become more concrete.
The striker also believes that his experience as a penalty taker could be an advantage if he one day tries his hand as a kicker.
“I take penalties and it’s a very similar pressure and technique. In terms of training, I’d be closer to that than in any other sport, but if I were to do that, it’s something I’d take seriously. I’d probably spend six months to a year trying to train myself first,” Kane said from England’s national team camp.
