It wasn’t exactly a high-scoring debut for Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim tonight away to Ipswich.
The first thing he did as a newly appointed manager was to get interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy sacked in order to put his own team in place.

Now comes information about who could possibly be the permanent solution for the German club.
Transfer journalist Florian Plettenberg states that Hamburg are considering bringing in Ruud van Nistelrooy. And if so, it will be a nice reunion, as the Dutchman played for the club between the years 2010 and 2011. He scored 17 goals in 44 games.
According to Plettenberg, the Dutchman was on the cards even before Steffen Baumgart was fired and concrete talks are said to have taken place.

Asbjørn Halvorsen, Erik Solér, Jørn Andersen and Per Ciljan Skjelbred have all played for Hamburger SV, but there are no Norwegians in the club now.
