It was expected that American striker Folarin Balogun would miss his country’s round of 16 against Belgium after being sent off in the match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. This did not happen. FIFA announced on Sunday that his suspension had been overturned. The decision was welcomed by Donald Trump, while the Belgian national team management did not understand how it could happen. Now Jürgen Klopp is also reacting.
It’s only a matter of time before Jürgen Klopp is presented as the new German national team manager, we already hear a national team coach when Klopp fires at FIFA.

According to The Athletic , Trump allegedly called FIFA president and friend Gianni Infantino, to have Balogun’s suspension lifted. Neither FIFA nor the White House have commented on the report.
Jürgen Klopp reacted in his role as World Cup pundit for MagentaTV, and made a sharp criticism of both Trump and Infantino.
“This is our game, not theirs,” Klopp grumbled.
“If Trump and Infantino really agreed on that, it’s crazy. It calls everything into question. These two people, neither of whom know anything about football, should have nothing to do with it at all,” Klopp continues.
Who could not understand the decision to reverse the red card because, in his view, the incident “did not leave room for debate”.
