A few days later, Nagelsmann is finished, while the German Football Association immediately confirmed contact with Jürgen Klopp. Now the main character himself comes with confirmation that this is something he can imagine.

“About what still needs to be clarified: Time. I still have a contract with Red Bull. I have made it clear that I am interested in the conversations. They will be intense, because it’s not just about taking over from Julian Nagelsmann,” Klopp continues.
“I’m also going to talk to Oliver Mintzlaff. He is my employer. We have already discussed the topic a couple of times. I guess he won’t stand in the way. I’ve been there for 19 months, and it’s been an intense time. I’m ready. When the conversations start, my mind starts to race.
