Kevin De Bruyne scored his 200th and 201st goals of his illustrious career and led Belgium to a 3-0 win over Turkey in the UEFA Nations League on Friday.

De Bruyne showed that he can still dominate a game at the age of 35, scoring the Beliga’s first two goals to keep the pressure on France at the top of League A.

The Napoli playmaker curled in another goal with half an hour left to play. Substitute Romelu Lukaku decided the game against the Turks. Lukébakio hit the post twice.

“I try to lead by example for the younger players and they easily follow suit,” De Bruyne said. “I feel that I can still contribute. I enjoy myself and that is the most important thing.

Belgium now have two wins and one loss – the loss came against France – under new coach Mark van Bommel.

They are one point behind France at the top of the group, before the two teams meet in the final match of the September/October window at the Stade de France on Monday.
