Arsenal have sold Belgian left winger Leandro Trossard for €18 million to Beşiktaş. – 6.million less than they themselves paid to Brighton in January 2023.

The Belgian was behind a crucial away goal against West Ham late in the spring – a goal that was ultimately crucial in the title race against Manchester City.
Now it is clear that the 31-year-old will leave North London for Istanbul and Beşiktaş. After Arsenal confirmed a deal with Beşiktaş on the transfer fee yesterday, Trossard’s transfer is now official.
“Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Leo for his valuable contribution to the club and wish him the best of luck in the future,” Arsenal writes on their website.
Price tag of 18 million euros
Beşiktaş confirms in connection with the presentation of Trossard that the transfer fee lands at 18 million euros – about 210 million Norwegian kroner – plus another 2 million euros in bonuses.
According to The Times, the Belgian international, who recently finished a World Cup finals with Belgium, will get a significant salary boost in Beşiktaş.
Leandro Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023. In total, he made 174 appearances, 36 goals and 34 assists in an Arsenal shirt.
Now a new chapter awaits the Belgian – at one of Turkey’s biggest clubs.
