The reason why Leeds are considering sacking their manager Daniel Farke despite having led them back up to the Premier League is the history that shows that he is not succeeding at the top level in England. Good for the Championsship and not good enough for the Premier League.
Both Leeds and Burnley will play in the 2025/26 Premier League, while the final promotion spot will be decided through the play-offs. Sheffield United, Sunderland, Bristol City and Coventry seem to be fighting for the last spot.
According to reports, Leeds United are considering sacking manager Daniel Farke just days after securing promotion to the Premier League.

Leeds secured promotion with a crushing 6-0 win over Stoke City on Easter Monday, but the club’s American owners are now reviewing his position with any replacements in mind.
The Daily Mail reports that Farke’s job is at stake due to doubts about his ability to keep the team in the top division.
“No final decision has been made – and there is an awareness that such a controversial move may well backfire – not least among the club’s supporters. But other candidates are being considered ahead of this turning point for the club,” reports Mike Keegan.
Sacking Farke right after promotion would be an exceptionally bold move, but the last six teams to be promoted from the Championship have all been relegated from the Premier League the following season.
Among the managers linked with Leeds is José Mourinho, Sportbible reports that a return to the Premier League would surely appeal to the former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur boss.
The Portuguese manager is currently the manager of Turkish side Fenerbahçe.

Despite Farke’s Leeds impressing with attacking football at Elland Road (89 goals in 44 games this season), former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has given talkSPORT some surprising words: “I was thinking about it last night: Daniel Farke has done a great job getting Leeds United up”
“But we are in a brutal industry… Should Leeds change coach before the Premier League? I know it’s brutal, but Farke’s record in the Premier League is 49 games, six wins, 35 losses, 101 goals conceded and 31 scored.
