In the “old days”, which in the world of football is less than a decade ago, the biggest clubs could mostly point to players they wanted at the smaller clubs, flip up a decent amount and sign the player. Leeds have now built themselves up to resist such advances, the players also see no reason to leave the club, which has risen to the occasion with Daniel Farke on the sidelines, strong signings and Red Bull in the wings.
The Whites signed Bosnian Tarik Muharemovic in a £34m deal from Sassuolo in the summer, and it already looks like one of the best deals the club has made in recent years.

Muharemovic, who immediately played his way into the starting eleven, has already delivered top performances that have helped Leeds climb to fifth place in the Premier League after five games.
Muharemovic’s early performances have been so strong that a number of major Champions League teams have started to take notice. According to Teamtalk’s sources , Bayern Munich have also expressed their interest and are following developments closely, with a potential push as early as January.

According to “sources close to the situation”, Farke is very keen to continue building the defence with the 23-year-old, and the club wants to make it crystal clear that the player is not for sale. Leeds plan to “grow together” with the 23-year-old star, rather than trying to make a quick buck on their signing. This with the knowledge that they have already virtually doubled the initial investment they put into Muharemovic.
