Pep Guardiola’s idea is to put less pressure on Erling Braut Haaland by bringing in a striker this winter who comes with success behind him and a creative approach to football.

Manchester City have made a bid for Omar Marmoush that has exploded in market value, from having arrived for free from Wolfsburg to Eintracht Frankfurt “at the mercy” of two and a half years ago, the German club is not close to wanting to sell for the 60 million euros that Transfermarkt believe he is worth.

Omar Marmoush has had a sensational first half of the season. The Egyptian striker has accounted for an incredible 18 goals and 12 assists in 24 competitive games for Frankfurt this season.

The 25-year-old’s red-hot delivery has not only helped lift his club high up the Bundesliga table, but also made him one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe. A number of clubs are ready to sign the shooting star who is in his second year in Frankfurt.

Footmercato writes that Manchester City are the first club to make a bid for Marmoush. The French website did not disclose what the bid was worth, but reports that the Egyptian has been in contact with City’s management and is interested in moving to Manchester.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are also following Omar Marmoush closely.
