According to TEAMtalk’s sources , Michael Carrick and his coaching staff have drawn up plans that will make Marcus Rashford a key player in the first team this season.

While the transfer window remains open and speculation surrounding Rashford’s future is expected to continue, sources have confirmed that there is a genuine belief in Carrick’s coaching staff that the England international could become a key figure at the “new” Red Devils. Rashford will report back to Carrington this week, and will wear a Man Utd shirt for the first time in 18 months.
The 28-year-old is expected to be involved in Man Utd’s friendly against Champions League champions Paris Saint-Germain in Sweden this weekend, with Carrick starting to assess his squad for the new season, the sources report.

According to TEAMtalk, Rashford’s salary is not seen as an issue by Carrick or his coaching staff, instead they focus on the opportunity to reintegrate a player they believe still has the qualities to make a big difference under Carrick.
Wow! This is either a stroke of genius by Carrick, or a continuation of the disgrace that started when Rashford and the management entered the conflict that ended with two loan stays.
