Manchester United are investing heavily in the development of their own talents. It’s nothing new, but the difference now is that several of the biggest talents at Premier League rivals see the best opportunities for first-team entry lie with United. Now it is no longer a question of celebratory speeches with “the talents will get their opportunity”, the greatest talents introduce to the first team at an early stage. The signal effect is great.
JJ Gabriel is 15 years young, but started training with Manchester United’s first team when he was 14 years old. On United’s U18 team, he has an impressive 29 goals in 32 games. On Saturday, the striker got his first minutes on the pitch in the friendly match against Atletico Madrid.

The super talent was put on the pitch after 82 minutes, in the game where Manchester United beat Atletico Madrid 2-1.
After the game, there was a lot of praise from Leny Yoro, even just five years older than JJ Gabriel.
“He’s a really good player. He’s still very young and still has a lot to learn and a lot he can improve, but he’s really humble and keeps working hard, so I’m happy for him that he’s got his first minutes.
Needless to say, this is a player we will see more of at United in the coming years.
