Now things are starting to happen at Manchester United. There has been a lot of excitement about which players Michael Carrick has at his disposal in his job as permanent United coach, in the last week Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemanns have signed, on Monday it is time for an 18-year-old winger to put on the red shirt.
Manchester United have signed Tynan Thompson from Tottenham after striking a deal worth £4 million, with an additional £4 million in add-ons.

Tottenham player Tynan Thompson signs with Manchester United
Thompson accounted for 13 goals and 6 assists across Tottenham’s youth team during the last season. This meant that he was selected for Tottenham’s first team during the season, but without getting any game time. Perhaps not so strange in Tottenham’s chaotic season as a relegation candidate with three different managers.
Now Thompson is heading for breakthroughs with the Red Devils and Michael Carrick.

Local newspaper Manchester Evening News describes the player as a very exciting addition for United, under the title “Manchester United sign exciting young winger for £8 million in a Premier League coup“:
“The winger is highly regarded in academy circles and is expected to get first-team opportunities at Old Trafford, having impressed in north London last season. The deal for the England Under-18 international also includes a 15% sell-off clause and United have told him that he will be given the chance to work his way into first-team Old Trafford.”
