This week, it became clear that Bournemouth have not been able to convince successful coach Andoni Iraola to extend his contract. With that, the Spaniard walks out into the job search queue after the end of the season, but is unlikely to stay there for many minutes. For the success he has had with Bournemouth, the relegation candidate in the 2022/23 season, has been noticed. In recent days, several candidates have been linked to the job, now it is reported that the choice has been made.
And the choice fell on Marco Rose, reports Sky Sports, where the German coach will lead Bournemouth from after the summer break.

Marco Rose hasn’t quite found his place after leaving Red Bull Salzburg in 2019 and Gladback in 2021. The German coach has stayed in the Bundesliga, leading big clubs Dortmund (1 year) and RB Leipzig (2.5 years), but without much success. Since March 2025, Rose has been without a coaching job. When the Tottenham job was about to become available, Haaland’s former coach was linked to the job, but ended up at Tudor, then De Zerbi.
So it will still be the Premier League for the German. It will be exciting to follow Marco Rose, former Haaland coach at both RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund, as the new Bournemouth coach.
