Juventus, Manchester United and several other big clubs have been linked with the 30-year-old this summer, but on Tuesday the transfer window closed without a Sørloth on the move.

Sørloth has been out with injury at Atletico Madrid for the past month. Julian Alvarez turned down offers from Arsenal when Barcelona were not an option for Atletico to sell to, and Diego Simeone has also brought in Canadian striker Jonathan David on loan from Juventus.
Does this mean that Sørloth moves further back in the playing time queue before the European Championship qualifiers?
If you ask Ståle Solbakken, he does not see any problem with Sørloth staying at Atletico Madrid.
“Sørloth and Kristian Thorstvedt are both in a good place, so it looks nice,” Solbakken said to Nettavisen.
