This winter, Yan Diomande was one of the hottest wingers on the market. The teenager made his breakthrough in the Bundesliga last season with 12 goals and 9 assists. The numbers were impressive enough in themselves. The way he gushes and plays his way forward on the right wing and created constant imbalances for the opponents’ defences, was even more impressive, totally fearless and always smelling of scoring every time he got the ball. Real Madrid elbowed their way forward this summer, with what could end up being €140 million in transfer fees. In October 2026, it’s all about another RB Leipzig winger with the same extreme qualities. This is “our man”, Antonio Nusa.
RB Leipzig coach Ole Werner sees the 21-year-old on the training ground and match ground regularly, he told ZDF: “Nusa is a player who will be world-class in the near future.” In September, German media highlighted the 21-year-old as one of Leipzig’s most important players. Before the Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven (1-0 win), Nusa was one of the players the coach of the Eredivisie club feared the most.

Nusa has followed the strong start to the season in August/September, with more scoring shows in October. In the 6-0 thrashing of Eintracht Frankfurt, the 21-year-old was the sender of scoring and assists, midway through October Nusa stands with 3 goals and 3 assists in 5 Bundesliga games.
The Leipziger Volkszeitung is following the Norwegian’s development closely, this month the German newspaper reported that Nusa was the player in the entire Bundesliga who increased the most in value during Transfermarkt’s market update at the beginning of October.

His value shot up by a whopping €13 million, making him Leipzig’s second most valuable player with a market value of €45 million at the moment. If there is a sale in January, experts believe the buying club will have to shell out up to €70 million to convince RB Leipzig.
Antonio Nusa is on fire!
