Already as a teenager, Bo Hegland was football-restless. Frigg, a trip to Italian Lecce, then returned to Frigg before Moss. Then the Swedish big club Djurgården knocked on the door in 2025. On Monday, the 22-year-old went on to both score and assist in the 2-0 win over Gais, Hegland is heavily involved in playing Djurgården to league gold this season. The interest in Norwegian players is great, in the stands sat scouts from one of the world’s biggest clubs and followed the Norwegian U21 international.

They got to see Hegland in one of the main roles against Gais, this was the 22-year-old’s 15th assist of the season, equalling the Allsvenskan record of Magnus Wolff Eikrem from 2015.

According to Expressen , representatives from Barcelona were at Stockholm Arena to follow the Norwegian assist king.

Hegland has been linked to Newcastle and is said to have recently turned down Belgian Anderlecht, now the attacking midfielder is on the radar of one of the world’s biggest and best clubs.
