Earlier today, we wrote about Lens coach Dino Toppmüller, who has been fired after just five games in the job. A few hours later, an Italian club reports that they are doing the same – after four games.
Domenico Tedesco was hired as the new head coach of Bologna in June, but the collaboration has already ended.

The Serie A club reports on their website that the German-Italian player has been fired with immediate effect.
The club sincerely thanks him for the work he has done with great professionalism and competence. The club wishes him and his staff all the best in their future careers, it says neutrally.
Then Bologna rushed in Raffaele Palladino – who was fired at Atalanta at the beginning of June.
Domenico Tedesco only managed to lead Bologna in four games with defeats against Napoli, Atalanta and Lazio, plus a draw against Sassuolo.
Tedesco left Fenerbahce in April 2026, where he reached 45 games. Before that, the German-Italian coach has been at several German clubs and was the national team coach of Belgium from 2023 to 2025.
