Miloš Kerkez was brought in as the “new John Arne Riise”. The Hungarian international had thundered up and down the left wing and showed off a shooting foot that made us think of Riise in the Liverpool shirt. There were no Riise beats for Kerhez in his debut season under Arne Slot. During the season, several supporters commented that veteran Andy Robertson went “twice” around Kerkez. Now Slot and Robertson are history at Anfield, for Kerkez it is back to the “recipe for success”.
It was written with Andoni Iraola as Bournemouth coach. For 74 games, Iraola led his young left-back with great success, now the Spaniard will once again give Kerkez the football and coaching, which saw Liverpool flip up £40m last summer for the left-back.

“I was very happy, to be honest. I have worked with him (Iraola) before and he helped me and developed me a lot in the two years I was with him. I was very happy – of course for myself, but also for the team. Everyone knows what kind of football he plays, so I think he’s a perfect fit for us,” Kerkez said, according to the BBC.
