Last season it was Yan Diomande. This season it’s all about Antonio Nusa. Two already brilliant wingers at a young age. Liverpool and PSG fought hard to bring the Ivorian teenager to the club, but Real Madrid elbowed their way forward, put €125 million on the table (plus potential bonuses) and convinced Diomande of Madrid. RB Leipzig cashed in a huge amount and could get more if the winger delivers at Real. There is one bonus that is particularly interesting, where the payoff could come in five, ten years.

Diomande took the Bundesliga by storm last season after joining from CD Leganés. The winger finished with 12 goals and eight assists in the Bundesliga and was eventually named the league’s Rookie of the Season.

In La Liga, the 19-year-old has continued to perform. He has three goals and four assists in all competitions so far, and has been given a significant role under José Mourinho despite Madrid’s superstar attack.

The expectations for where Diomande ends up in the star hierarchy are clearly huge. Because according to German Sky Sports , Real Madrid will have to pay RB Leipzig an additional 2.5 million euros in bonus payments – if Diomande wins the Ballon d’Or.
