JJ Gabriel closes in on Real Madrid
Now, a new report from Spanish newspaper Sport claims that Real Madrid and Barcelona are the “clear favourites” to sign Gabriel – ahead of Bayern Munich and PSG.
However, Real Madrid are preparing to offer more money than Barcelona for Gabriel. The player’s camp has signalled that they will make the “announcement” of their “final” decision on the next move “shortly”.
Regarding the terms of the potential Real Madrid deal, the report writes: “There have long been rumours that Real Madrid have a deal well in place. What is certain is that as of today, it looks confirmed that the club has accepted the terms proposed by the player and his agent.
“At the Bernabeu, they should be prepared to take the full cost of the transfer – estimated at ten million euros. That includes a three-year contract and various bonuses for family members, the agent and performance-based incentives.”
It won’t be that long before we get an answer to where he lands.
