The chaos reigns internally at Real Madrid. Fights in the dressing room, dissatisfaction with Kylian Mbappé’s diva tactics and disagreements with the coaches, first Xabi Alonso, then Alvaro Arbeloa. In recent weeks, one coach has been so strongly linked to the job that many take it for granted that Jose Mourinho will take over as Real coach. Under Mourinho, Real Madrid won only one league championship, as well as a Copa del Rey and Super Cup title. Castillas does not like the reports that Mourinho and Real Madrid are in final negotiations.

“I don’t have a problem with Mourinho. He seems like a great professional to me. But I don’t want him at Real Madrid,” Castillas said.
