This spring and summer, Curtis Jones has been reported to be on his way away from Anfield. With less than a year left on the contract and no extension, this is a typical situation where the club wants to sell in order not to lose the opportunity for sales revenue at the end of the contract. Back in June, two bids for Curtis Jones from Inter ticked in for the Liverpool management. Virtually without hesitation, both were rejected. This has clearly not scared Inter Milan. The Serie A champions came back with the bid they hoped would get Liverpool on the slide.

According to English journalist Ben Jacobs, Inter Milan made a bid of €32 million, but again the answer was the same: “No!”
Jones is in the final year of his contract, but Liverpool refuse to be pressured into letting go of the former academy player with 228 appearances in the senior shirt, they want 40-50 million euros – otherwise Curtis will be kept, it is reported.

According to The Athletic , Inter have now signalled they are willing to bid €35 million for the central midfielder. Then we will see the response this time. Still far from Liverpool’s expectations, but close to the limit Inter have the opportunity to pay.
