On Sunday, it will be a blast between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield. It was a packed barracks at Friday’s press conference when City coach Enzo Maresca sat down on the pod, but he knew it was completely different from match review that was on the agenda of the journalists who follow City’s fight for survival as a club after extensive violations of the Fair Play rules.
“I understand why most of you are here, but the only thing I can say is what I have already said. That there is a process going on, and right now I have full confidence in the club. So that’s all I can say about that matter,” Maresca begins.

“I trust the club because I trust the people here, and that’s why I came here. There’s no other club in the world I’d rather be at. I’m very proud, I’ve said that since day one,” the City coach said.
I have full confidence in the club. Usually it is Premier League clubs that come out and show full confidence in the coach, when things are going badly sporting. This is a completely new scenario in the world’s toughest league.
