As a 24-year-old, Sivert Mannsverk has already been part of an exciting football journey. Sogndal, Molde, then Ajax in 2023. Now the trip continues, the midfielder has impressed the Danish coach Brian Priske.
Mannsverk was sold until September 2023. His time in the Netherlands was marked by injuries, frequent changes of coach and fluctuating sporting results for the club. During this period, he also had short loan spells at other clubs, including Cardiff City.

In August last year, Brian Priske and Sparta Prague signed Sivert Mannsverk on a lease agreement with an option to buy 6 million euros, and exactly ten months later, this will be activated. Mannsverk made 27 appearances across competitions for Sparta Prague last season, enough to convince the Czech club who finished second in the league.
Sports director Tomas Rosicky tells what the club sees in Mannsverk:
“Sivert is the type of player who can bring balance to the team and help control the midfield; He is also good at organizing the game. He is constantly on the hunt for the ball and actively searches for spaces where he can make himself available to his teammates. He is physically strong, aggressive and active in challenges. It’s precisely this combination of technical ability and physicality that we need from our deep-lying central midfielders.”
