Haaland’s microphone was cut off by Sky Sports
Sky Sports was forced to mute Erling Haaland’s microphone in the middle of a powerful interview – after Manchester City’s dramatic win over Arsenal in the Premier League.

Haaland scored the winning goal himself at the Etihad Stadium and opened the title race wide open, after both Rayan Cherki and Kai Havertz had found the back of the net.
The win over their arch-enemy means City can go all the way to the top if they beat Burnley on Wednesday. Arsenal, on the other hand, have only five games left to play.
Bernardo Silva was named the best player on the pitch for his insane effort, and together with Haaland, he lined up for an interview after the game. Haaland heaped praise on the Portuguese’s defensive work – but then it went too far.
The Norwegian swore loud and clear, before interviewer Patrick Davidson had to remind him of the use of language.
“I remember that cross, I said it to him afterwards. You were like J* Cannavaro,” Haaland said.
“Please, Erling,” Davidson replied.
Haaland continued:
“Come on, we’ve all cursed in our lives. I just said he was like Cannavaro. Today, Bernie – I’m not going to make it emotional in here – but you were really, really good.
Host Dave Jones was also forced to apologize live in the studio.

Another fierce duel with Gabriel
Haaland was once again involved in an intense confrontation with Arsenal’s Gabriel. Many believe the Brazilian was lucky to avoid a red card after moving his head aggressively towards the City striker.
Red cards have definitely been handed out for far less. Haaland believes Gabriel got away because he himself did not overreact – something he assures he would never do.
On the physical duels with Gabriel, Haaland said:
“I think it’s always like that. A lot of fighting and things like that. It’s up to others to decide if I won that game or not. I scored the goal, so I won the game at that moment. It was a fantastic goal, a decisive moment, and we win.
About the hottest episode, he added:
“I think if I had laid down on the grass – which I don’t do unless someone really attacks me – it could have been a red card. I’m not sure. But it is what it is. I don’t want to lie down.
“Yellow card for me. I don’t know why, when he comes up in my face. But that’s just the way it is.
