Antonio Nusa has played his way up among the biggest profiles in the Bundesliga this season. With his 10 goal points (4 goals and 6 asists), only Michael Olise and Harry Kane are more productive in the league in front of their opponents’ goals. In the Premier League, the battle is set for the Norwegian 21-year-old, optimism is high in London. Both at Arsenal – and Tottenham.
Various English media have linked Nusa strongly to reigning Premier League champions Arsenal, where Ødegaard’s club is reported to be in pole position. Tottenham website Spurs-web, claims this week that there could still be a great opportunity to hijack this transfer.
Here is the analysis for Spurs-web:
“Spurs explored a possibility for Nusa throughout the summer, and the Lilywhites may be unhappy after failing to reach a deal for the Norwegian winger. Tottenham Hotspur could still have a golden opportunity to seal a deal with Antonio Nusa right under Arsenal’s noses.”
“Arsenal will only pay €55 million (£46 million) for Nusa, but Leipzig are demanding €70 million (£58.5 million) for the star winger. The Bundesliga club’s valuation remains the “main hurdle” for Arsenal in striking a January deal for the Norwegian international. Spurs could thus have an opportunity to potentially overtake their tough rivals by paying what Leipzig demands.”
