Richarlison was brought in from Goodison Park as one of the Premier League’s sharpest attacking players. Tottenham supporters have unfortunately seen little of this since the signing in 2022. Poor 76 games, 17 goals. Tottenham pulled out £50 million for the Brazilian, now it is reported that the London club are ready to take a big loss on the investment.

Football-Insider’s sources have previously claimed the 27-year-old “has told his friends” he wants away from Spurs. According to former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson, with his good contacts to the club, this could happen now in the last week of the transfer window.

With Dominic Solanke out injured, Tottenham are expected to aim to use money from the sale of Richarlison to sign a new striker. The Brazilian has been on the pitch for 286 minutes this season, the rest out with injury.

-They are probably linked to so many other strikers because they are going to let Richarlison go. I think they obviously have to take a big loss on the £50 million they paid for him, because they’re not going to get the money back,” Robinson told Football-Insider.

Richarlison currently has a market value of €30 million, but much of the season out with an “unknown injury” is unlikely to yield a full pot in the sale of the player who was supposed to replace Harry Kane.
