Onana’s contract with Manchester United runs until 2028. Those are facts. What is also a fact is that Andre Onana as the first goalkeeper at Man Utd has shown he delivers performances that range from world class – to horrendous blunders that have cost the team backwards and points. This season, Senne Lammens has shown what United need in terms of continuity, while Onana has performed well in the Turkish league. The big question is where the Cameroonian international will play next season.
Onana was sent on a sideline this season to Turkish side Trabzonspor, where he has 28 appearances, 35 back-to-back appearances and 6 clean sheets. Here, the Cameroonian international goalkeeper has regained the confidence that was so much torpedoed after repeated mega blunders in the United shirt. With Senne Lammens well established as the first goalkeeper, one would think Onana is now seeking a permanent exit from United. Not this guy, no.

Because according to the major newspaper The Guardian, Onana is aiming for a return to Old Trafford to fight for playing time with Lammens. The 30-year-old also believes that it will happen, it is reported.
In Turkey, Trabzonspor are very happy with their goalkeeper on loan, where the aim is to sign the United goalkeeper on a permanent contract, but according to the English I Paper , the Süper Lig club are not ready to meet United’s price tag of around £40 million.
The English website also claims Solskjaer’s former club, Besiktas, have expressed their interest in signing Onana.

Then you have two clubs who want Onana, are not willing to meet United’s price demands, while the goalkeeper himself hopes for a return to Old Trafford. Will be interesting to follow.
