Roberto de Zerbo has signed a five-year contract without a safety net. If the Italian leads Tottenham out of the Premier League, he will follow down. Marcos Senesi is also ready to pull on the Spurs shirt, but is not interested in diving around in the 2nd division.
Since his move to Bournemouth in 2022, the Argentine centre-back has been one of coach Andoni Iraola’s key players in the Bournemouth defence. This season, Senesi has been a rock in the defensive wall, but will walk out as a free agent in the summer.

According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, an agreement in principle between Tottenham and the Argentine is in place. Senesi is said to be impressed with the project De Zerbi is trying to build in North London, but there is one major caveat.
If Tottenham disappears from the Premier League, it will be without Senesi.
