There was a lot of commotion in the English media when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was spotted in the stands for the match between Wolverhampton and Ipswich. Sportbible and other media immediately linked the former United manager to the coaching job that would soon become vacant. Graham Potter has also been in the picture, but is said to have already given his answer.

On Sunday, it was over and out for Gary O’Neil as Wolves manager. Solskjaer’s teammate Kieran McKenna led Ipswich to victory at Molineux, now the Wolves job is vacant.

Although Solskjaer is said to have been present at Molineux to follow former Man United assistant Mckenna, the English media has not completely let go of the link to the Wolves job. The Guardian also claims Graham Potter was approached by Wolverhampton management, but the coach, with a guest stay at Chelsea, is said to have rejected all approaches.
