You don’t have to like the Portuguese, but entertainment, Mourinho certainly offers that. Until he paints himself into a corner where he is continuously angry, accusatory and annoyed with everyone (except himself). The Atletico Madrid management did not find it entertaining, as Mourinho showed up at the press conference after the city derby with “proof” of why Real lost.
Jose Mourinho is a winner like few others, but there are probably few coaches in the football circus who are such a miserable loser as The Special One. We are in the 7th league round in Spain, Barcelona are already five points ahead of Mourinho’s Real Madrid. The bitter loss against Atletico Madrid on Sunday made Mourinho fire.

Jose Mourinho arrived at the post-match press conference with transcripts showing two incidents he thought should have resulted in red cards for the Atletico players. For those who have followed Mourinho’s career know that when he has to explain how useless the referees were after a loss, it often ends in a suspension. So a little “photo evidence” as a script, perhaps made Mourinho’s blood pressure stay down.

Atletico Madrid management did not find the stunt entertaining, calling “a spade a spade”.
Because on Monday, Atletico posted two posts on their X account. The first was a video showing a sheet of paper printed with the words “#StopAcosoArbitalYA”, which means “stop referee harassment now”. Another post showed a picture of Mourinho at the press conference with the same message.
Then we will see how Mourinho responds.
